RoofingLicenseCheck is a calculator, not a board, a school or a filing service. It computes license verdicts from a dated dataset researched against state licensing boards and statutes.
Every state record carries its check date (October 22, 2026) and its sources. Load-bearing facts (regime, threshold, exam, fees) are read on primary sources — board, registrar or statute pages. Where a figure could not be confirmed on a primary page, it is printed as “Not published” or the page carries a “checked in part” notice saying exactly what is open. The dataset is re-swept annually and the storm states are re-checked quarterly for law changes.
We sell one thing: a $49 one-time kit of walkthroughs, templates and checklists. We don't take money from exam schools, insurers or franchisors — no affiliate links, no sponsored rankings, no lead generation. Exam schools and franchises appear here only as priced facts (their own published prices and FDD filings), because a starter deserves to see them itemized.
Verdicts are information. Boards decide applications; lawyers advise on your facts. Every verdict ends “confirm with the board before you file” because that is where the authority is.
